solidarity forever

A limited-edition tote bag portraying a passionate Chinese elder riding atop a dragon -- a cherished and traditional symbol of power, strength and good luck. In her call to action, she grasps a sharpened pestle, referencing a traditional Chinese proverb on the importance of perseverance and hard work.

This artist-initiated fundraising project aims to raise $8,000 in support of @yarrowsociety @bc_artscape @blimstagram and @treasuregreentea in Vancouver’s Chinatown.

This bag was made collaboration with Elisa Yon and Fuchen (Edward) Juan, printed at Malaspina Printmakers Society.
